Funeral Options in Fayetteville AR & the Surrounding Area

At Westfield Chapel, we have worked with countless individuals and families throughout Springdale, and the surrounding communities in Arkansas since our founding. We have seen a lot of heartache and tears, but we’ve also seen the comfort and relief on the faces of many individuals when they realize that we’re there for them every step of the way with compassion, care, and clear answers to their questions. As a family-owned and -operated funeral home, we are committed to working with you one-on-one, and offering you the personalized service you and your family need during this period of your lives.

Choosing a funeral home, deciding what type of service to hold, and making other important final arrangements can be stressful. Not only are these decisions difficult to make, but you may only have one or two days to make your choices. Additionally, you may be emotionally vulnerable during this difficult time, making the process even more daunting. After all, the loss of a loved one is one of the greatest heartbreaks that a human must endure. Even if the passing had been expected for quite some time due to a prolonged illness, it doesn’t make the pain any easier to handle.

Fortunately, you can turn to the professionals at Westfield Chapel to help you navigate through this emotional process. Here, we provide answers to a few of the questions we most commonly receive from the individuals and families we’ve served:

How much does a funeral cost? The answer varies depending on the type of funeral service you desire to have. At Westfield Chapel, we offer services to meet a range of needs and budgets. We provide prices upfront for these options, along with the features they include, right here on our website.

While we offer standard packages, we can also customize any package with add-on services – such as upgraded caskets, video tributes, and more – so you can honor your loved one in a unique way.

It is important to note that these services have additional fees, and all of the pricing that you see on our site does not include any cemetery fees. However, you’ll always know exactly how much our funeral services will cost before you ultimately decide which package best meets your needs.

What types of funeral services do you offer? We provide several kinds of funeral services in Fayetteville, AR, and nearby communities, including simple graveside service, traditional graveside service with family viewing, traditional chapel or church funeral with family viewing, and also green burials. In addition, we also offer a variety of cremation packages, including options for veterans and liturgists.

The details of each of these packages can be found right here on our site, but we’ll gladly explain the specifics to you so you will know precisely what each service entails and how much each package costs.

How long does a funeral last? This depends largely on the preferences of the family, but usually a funeral itself will last for about two hours. Liturgical services may exceed three to four hours if a wake, Mass, and rite of Christian burial (common for Catholic funerals) are all to occur consecutively on the same day. Other types of services, such as memorial services and services for veterans of the armed forces, may last between 90 minutes and three hours. We hold many types of funeral services and will gladly explain to you what each specific type entails and how long they last.

To learn more, or to inquire about any of our services, please feel free to call us at any time. Westfield Chapel proudly serves individuals and families in Fayetteville, and other nearby AR communities.
