Obituary for David Schwolow
David Carl Schwolow, age 71 of Elkins Arkansas. Born October 30th 1945 in Arlington Heights Illinois. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed playing his guitar, singing and studying the Bible. Most of all, was a great entertainer. He liked to hunt, fish and tie flies. He loved camping with family and friends. David also enjoyed drawing and writing, he excelled in whatever he tried. He was a man of many words and touched many lives in many different ways, he will be greatly missed. David was always there to help, whether physically or with just a smile. He encouraged others to accomplish their goals and to always read. A life not lived perfectly but each mistake a lesson learned, he saw the good in each person he met and brightened your day. Of his one hundred some odd grandchildren and great grandchildren, he left sweet memories for each and every one.
Micah 7:9 I will bear the indignation of the Lord, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.
Time is a gift we all must realize that has no limits, nor guarantees. What a legendary grandpa you have been. We will forever cherish the moments of time that we have shared from fishing to just hanging out. George Jones really should have had the chance to hear you sing White Lightnin. No one can sing it better. There are few moments more amazing than sitting at a bonfire and listening to you string and sing. “Mighty, mighty pleasing , Pappy’s call em squeezins, whew, pop, White Lightnin”!
